We are just like before

Around 3 o’clock at dawn I went out from my home
Next to the door I hear some cry, some moan
It was you asking me for a shelter
I told you I just could give you a shore
Cause I’ve noticed that you won’t stay so long
I could keep you warm, I’ll be gentle
I’ll take away your cold, don’t worry about clothes
When you come and go like a ghost
When you come and go nobody lost
We are just like before

The strees in those times were like Poe’s tales
Lonely, scary, and Black cats sing in the haze
While the raven is shouting “Nevermore”
You were trying to find a place to rest
from the darkest night, who torn
your veil that tumbled in your face
Meanwhile your hat tried to cover your crest
(When)you come and go like rain
(When)you come and go nobody regrets(hopes)
We are just like before
